Description
A time for celebration :: Graduates throw their caps high in the air the moment after their milestone achievement has been officially announced.
I captured this climactic moment at a family member’s graduation in 2019.
With COVID-19 restrictions, a vast majority of the Class of 2020 were not able to gather en mass for their commencement exercises. Although many of you precious graduates (including another member of my family) were not able to celebrate in a large gathering this year, I pray the Lord makes that up with an extra special celebration in spirit.
May this image help honor the fine achievement of graduates everywhere.

Artwork notes::
As the original sky in the upper right-hand of the photo was drab and dreary from an overcast day ~ it was threatening to rain, but God held up the precipitation ~ I “borrowed” the sky from one of my photos taken in Pasadena, California and blended it with the tree foliage.
The positions of the graduates’ airborne caps are “as is”, as I saw them through the camera lens in this uncropped photograph.
An HDR effect was gently applied to help bring out the details of the caps.
This fine art image is available as a wall print and greeting cards, and can be ordered on this page.
The beauty of ordering greeting cards from my shop here is that you are able to type a brief personal message inside the card. (Please note: When ordering a box of 10 or 25 cards, your identical message will be printed inside all cards in the box.)
Below are some examples of wonderful Bible verses to encourage the Graduate. And, Mazel Tov ~ Congratulations!
Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.
~ Proverbs 3:5-6
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
~ Jeremiah 29:11
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
~ Matthew 5:16
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
~ Philippians 4:13
Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
~ 1 Timothy 4:12
For with God nothing will be impossible.
~ Luke 1:37
Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
~ Philippians 1:6
The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.
~ Numbers 6:24-26

Embedded in the top right-hand corner is the Hebrew acronym for "B'ezras Hashem”[ב ס " ד] meaning "with God's help". It is a reminder to me as an artist and photographer of my dependence on the Almighty, the Originator of all creativity. This is a similar acknowledgement used by great artists like Johann Sebastian Bach and George Frideric Handel who signed their work with the Latin phrase, "Soli Deo gloria" which means, "Glory to God alone".

A joyous moment of triumph! I commiserate with those students who have been studying under challenging conditions during the pandemic and who could not celebrate in the traditional manner. Unfortunately I could not either, but for a different reason. My alma mater awarded gowns with hoods for Bachelors Degrees! You only got a cap, if you did a Higher Degree. I love the Scriptures that you quoted! Proverbs 3:5-6 best of all.
