Horses graze contentedly on idyllic farmland beside an undulating tree-studded hillside made green by spring rains in Northern California. Intermittent sunlight peaking through the clouds add a touch of texture to the scenery.
"The Lord is my Shepherd [to feed, to guide and to shield me],
I shall not want.
He lets me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still and quiet waters.
He refreshes and restores my soul (life); He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake."

Interesting note:
In early April 2020, I did some research on the positive effect of nature images on health, and found mounting scientific evidence for the calming effect of green and/or blue colors. As of this writing, 74% of my sold images contain one or both of these colors!

It's my belief that green has the same effect on personal tranquility as blue has on relaxing the retina in the eye. These greens, this valley, with its horses at peace, is magnificent and calming to see.
