Description
My precious Jewish neighbors quietly left this lovely bouquet of sweetscented marigold (Tagetes lucida Cav.) on my porch.
Their card said, “May you be happy, May you be well.”
What a beautiful love note from Heaven when I needed it most!
Especially during this historic shelter-in-place in the midst of COVID-19.
When I called to thank them, I mentioned that I was feeling discouraged and even burned out.
God knew the cry of my heart, and His timing is always perfect. Truly, He meets our needs at the right moment!
Genesis 12:3 says those who bless the Jewish people, God will bless; those who curse them He will curse… and through Israel and the Jewish people, all the families (nations) of the earth will be blessed.
It is amazing we are seeing this Scripture unfold with timely accuracy before our very eyes.
I was truly honored to say to my Jewish friends, “God bless you ABUNDANTLY!”
I added the Scripture from Psalm 147:3::
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
Perhaps you feel discouraged, stressed, even overwhelmed. A lot of us are. May this artwork be a blessing and comfort.

Artwork notes:
Embedded in the top right-hand corner is the Hebrew acronym for "B'ezras Hashem" [ב ס " ד] meaning "with God's help". It is a reminder to me as an artist and photographer of my dependence on the Almighty, the Originator of all creativity. This is a similar acknowledgement used by great artists like Johann Sebastian Bach and George Frideric Handel who signed their work with the Latin phrase, "Soli Deo gloria" which means, "Glory to God alone".
