I love how you have honored our beloved state flower. I look for that unique color to emerge every springtime. And because my grandma name is Bina, bee in Yiddish (short for Malka Bina, and of course Malka is queen in Hebrew!), I am partial to this pic!

Artist's Description

While on a nature walk in August 2020, I spotted these two honeybees as they visited California poppies.

Even in the midst of unprecedented smoke from wildfires burning in Northern California, I marveled at how they were busy about their daily tasks.

Honeybees are amazing creatures.

As with all of nature, they are a reflection of the character and integrity of the Creator.

They are also equipped with stingers to protect themselves and their hive.

There is a benefit ~ but there is also a warning.

There has been a "theme" preached in many churches that God is a God of grace and mercy.

He will and does correct and punish sin ~ wrong-doing.

The Creator is King and Sovereign over all creation.

His rules and commands are non-negotiable.

Like the hone...

God's peace and joy are prominent themes. Photography has been an incredible opportunity for me to explore the wonders of the Creator's magnificent artistry in nature. For the past 40 years, I have gone on an adventure which continues to this day ~ capturing images of amazing landscapes, plants and animals through the lens of documentation and creativity.
