Description
The lower pool of Mirror Lake, Yosemite National Park is filled to near overflowing from the swollen Tenaya Creek, supplied by record snowpack during the previous winter of 2016-2017 in the Sierra Nevada mountains.
This photo was taken on June 1st, 2017 in the afternoon.
To the right is the base of iconic Half Dome, which rises nearly 4,000 feet from the valley floor. On the left side is a rock formation over 2,000 feet tall near the North Dome peak.
It is my very first visit to this spectacular scenic gem in Northern California. Absolutely awe-inspiring... God’s creation is beyond magnificent.
