One of the first sunsets of 2020.
A feeling of satisfaction accomplishing what God called you to do for that day.
Experiencing the Father’s good pleasure in Heaven.
This is what I envision the Creator speaking through this gorgeous sunset reflected on the calm waters of Richardson Bay. The hills of Mill Valley rise the background, just north of San Francisco.
May we make each day ~ with its challenges and victories ~ a masterpiece to the glory of the Lord.

Embedded in the top right-hand corner is the Hebrew acronym for "B'ezras Hashem" [ב ס " ד] meaning "with God's help". It is a reminder to me as an artist and photographer of my dependence on the Almighty, the Originator of all creativity. This is a similar acknowledgement used by great artists like Johann Sebastian Bach and George Frideric Handel who signed their work with the Latin phrase, "Soli Deo gloria" which means, "Glory to God alone".
