This photo was taken on Veteran's Day, November 2015.
This is my first image experimenting with HDR (high dynamic range) photography, which brings out the rich colors and details that drew me to this intriguing and beautiful nature scene.
The powerful illustration of forest decline and decay, rejuvenation and renewal reminds me of Proverbs 24:16 :: "For though the righteous one may fall seven times, he gets up again, but the wicked stumble in adversity." Proverbs 24:16, Tree of Life Bible
