Description
Storm clouds begin to clear in this dramatic atmospheric transition over Vacaville, California near the Interstate 80 freeway.
I took this uncropped photo in late December 2013 while parked safely to the side of the road. The detailed cloud formations amid the setting sun caught my eye as I drove along the freeway, inspiring me to take the next exit and make a photo stop along a side road.
These clouds, like the storms in life, are only temporary. May you be comforted to know that despite the life challenge you may be facing, God promised you His strength to walk THROUGH the dark valley and come to the other side victoriously as you receive that gift (Psalm 23:4).
I respect and honor how Pappa God illustrates life lessons through His creation.
Indeed, "The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky shows His handiwork" (Psalm 19:1, Tree of Life Bible).

What an amazing sky you've captured. Great contrast between the lighter purple sky and the deep background hues. Wonderful to capture these beautiful colors in one shot. I would have stopped along the road as well. How can any photographer not want to capture this?
