I want to take this opportunity to express my heart-felt gratitude to you precious ones ~ friends, customers, and fellow artists ~ for your friendship and support over this past year.
Each of you are greatly appreciated for you being YOU ~ Special and created in God’s image.
2020 has definitely been “a year for the books” in ways we could not have imagined just eight months prior as of this writing on Thanksgiving Day.
Ever since my region in the San Francisco Bay Area was put under a shelter-in-place order in mid March due to the coronavirus ~ one of the first areas to do so in the nation ~ our world has been turned literally upside down.
My life and family have definitely been impacted ~ from having to meet online for Church, to not being able to attend my relative’s college graduation in person with the COVID-19 restrictions. My daily lifestyle has had to make adjustments.
But as has been said: God’s delays are NOT His denials.
He has a divine purpose and destiny for each of our lives.
The Creator of the universe was not caught by surprise by the “unexpected” turn of events this year.
Unexpected to us.
But not to God.
One preacher put it well :: Sometimes, God allows things to happen to see what we are made of.
To reveal the inner things of our hearts.
I believe if we have an open heart to change, this will lead to adjustments we need to make.
To correct unhealthy thinking patterns.
And to replace habits that are sabotaging the success in life that God intended for us to enjoy and experience.
Today on Thanksgiving Day ~ and indeed for the rest of the year and throughout 2021 and beyond ~ may we take a few minutes daily to bask in God’s presence, not to ask Him specific things at this time, but to quiet our hearts and minds… And listen to the still, small voice of the King of the universe.
God loves you dearly.
And He wants to express His heart of love to you.
Let’s resolve in our hearts to take time to commune with our Creator.
And watch our life perspective change before our very eyes.
Experts say it takes approximately 21 days to establish a habit.
May each of us ask God’s precious Holy Spirit to empower us to have the desire to do our part by scheduling time each day to be with the Lord in prayer and quite contemplation ~ and thanksgiving to our Creator.
And as the days, weeks, months and years go by and you look back on this day, you will be grateful for the new “good habit” of gratitude you established that will pay remarkable dividends of inner peace and personal growth.
May you have a fabulous day and terrific year ahead in the Lord Yeshua Jesus.
That is my heart-felt prayer for you.
God bless you, my friend!

Except for some very minor tweaking, the vibrant colors in the photo are essentially how they came from the camera, as seen in person.

Embedded in the top right-hand corner is the Hebrew acronym for "B'ezras Hashem" [ ב ס " ד ] meaning "with God's help". It is a reminder to me as an artist of my dependence on the Almighty, the Originator of all creativity. This is a similar acknowledgement used by great artists like Johann Sebastian Bach and George Frideric Handel who signed their work with the Latin phrase, "Soli Deo gloria" which means, "Glory to God alone".
