U.S. Navy Blue Angels jets are seen in a side-view as they perform a precision delta formation during San Francisco Fleet Week, October 2017. It is thrilling to see these amazing aircraft in flight, lined up with such accuracy at close range!

Pictured are the Boeing F/A-18 Hornet jets displaying the official colors of the U.S. Navy in blue and gold.

The pilots' admirable work ethic and precision remind us of the wise maxim, "Perfect practice makes perfect."

God rewards those who put their mind to do things with excellence:: “Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will stand before kings. He will not stand before obscure people” (Proverbs 22:29, TLV).

The Blue Angels are the United States Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron featuring Navy and Marine Corps jet pilots. Celebrating their 75th anniversary in 2021, this precision team has performed for nearly 500 million people worldwide since 1946. Additionally, each show season the Blue Angels visit more than 50,000 people during school and hospital visits.

San Francisco Fleet Week (SFFW) is an annual public event honoring the contributions of the men and women of the United States Armed Forces. According to the official SFFW website, it is the largest and most significant event of its kind in the U.S. and features a unique training and education program bringing together civilian and military forces to develop and share best practices in humanitarian assistance.

My sincere hope is that this image will inspire both the viewer and the buyer of this artwork to pray for our military, particularly during the holidays when they will not be with their families while on duty.

May we honor, respect and support the brave men and women in uniform who have given much and risked their lives so that we may live in freedom.
