An Anna’s hummingbird (Calypte anna) visits the front yard during the California COVID-19 shelter-in-place, its tiny landing gear down as it forages for insects as protein to supplement its high-nectar diet.

Had I been in a rush ~ I would have missed this gem of a moment.

The Creator exhorts the body of Christ and all of society to slo-o-o-ow down ~ to place our complete trust in the Lord, the Giver of life itself, to meet our needs.

Yeshua Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:25-26 that worry and anxiety are counterproductive ~ with zero return on investment.

God calls us to put Him first and watch our loving Heavenly Father work miracles in our lives.
