June 19th, 2022: As we honor and celebrate Father’s Day and Juneteenth, may special blessings be upon fathers here on earth and in Heaven from the Father of Lights who provides every good and perfect gift (James 1:17). May each of you precious ones know in a real and tangible way how much your Heavenly Father loves you!
God’s thoughts toward you are all good. In fact, the Psalmist David declared that if he were to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand in all the seashores! (Psalm 139:17-18)
Indeed, the love of the Creator was manifest when He gave His very best ~ His One and Only Begotten Son, Who made The Way to true and lasting freedom. Massive blessings in Yeshua Jesus on your Special Day and throughout the year!
One of my very favorite Scriptures which demonstrates God’s love toward us is John 3:16. Here it is in the Amplified Bible, Classic Edition, which presents it beautifully:
“For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.”

I took this photo during an early January morning walk a few blocks from where I was staying to attend a friend's wedding.
A painterly effect has been added to my photo for this digital artwork, along with the beloved Scripture ~ one of my very favorites ~ from Jeremiah 12:11. Here it is in the Amplified Bible:
“For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”

Embedded in the top right-hand corner is the Hebrew acronym for "B'ezras Hashem" [ב ס " ד] meaning "with God's help". It is a reminder to me as an artist and photographer of my dependence on the Almighty, the Originator of all creativity. This is a similar acknowledgement used by great artists like Johann Sebastian Bach and George Frideric Handel who signed their work with the Latin phrase, "Soli Deo gloria" which means, "Glory to God alone".
