Description
Ferry boats ply the waters of the Sea of Galilee in Israel.
No visit to the Holy Land would be complete without a boat ride on these historic and sacred waters. It was truly an experience of a lifetime to be on one of these vessels, singing songs of praise to my Creator and Messiah on the very same lake where Yeshua Jesus calmed the storm (Matthew 8:23-27; Mark 4:35-41; Luke 8:22-25).
The Sea of Galilee (also known as Lake Kinneret or Lake Tiberias) is nearly 705 feet (215 meters) below sea level, making it the lowest fresh water lake on Earth. It provides a portion of the drinking water for the State of Israel.
The original photo I took has been enhanced to give it a painterly effect.
