Dad's rose blooms in honor of the fifth anniversary of his homegoing to heaven in this photo taken in 2015.
The rose bush he planted in the backyard continues to bring forth its beauty.
"Dad, until we meet again on that Great Day... I love you."
May we honor the memories of our departed loved ones, and during our sojourn on this earth may we be ever diligent to carry on their legacy, to the glory of God.
I am comforted by the fact that Dad received Yeshua Jesus into his heart and placed his complete trust in his Messiah and Savior for his eternal destiny, and is enjoying the loving presence of the One he loved so much.
The greatest gift Dad would have wanted you to have is the very same gift he received... the assurance of where one would spend eternity, in heaven where there is unspeakable joy and peace, a new life full of vitality and purpose, beginning here on earth and lasting into eternity.
You can have that same assurance and peace of mind and heart. Simply say, "Father God, forgive me of my sins. Jesus, come into my heart. Make me the kind of person You want me to be. Thank You so much for saving me."
If you said these words and meant them from your heart, congratulations on becoming a child of God! Please feel free to send me a private e-mail to let me know of your most important decision you will ever make this side of eternity, so that I may rejoice with you. Place your complete trust in Jesus. Together, you will go places you've only dreamed of.

A magnificent rose to represent the Glory of God! May your dear father and mother, Cheryl, rest in peace! Any sacrifice that we might be called upon to make in mortality will be amply compensated for, when we behold the brightness of His Glory. Without the power of The Atonement we cannot be saved. Only His Grace can make up for our shortfall, when we have done all that we can, as we have all fallen short of that perfect life exemplified by Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
