The 2019 Superbloom was absolutely amazing in the hills above Antelope Valley! When I took this photo, a park ranger said this was one of the best blooming days for the Golden State flower. I saw this while in south-central California to attend meetings with Joan Hunter Ministries. The Lord’s timing is perfect!

The following narrative was posted on my personal Facebook page. It was well received, so I would like to share it here as well:

I did some research and found the color ORANGE has significant properties. It is used often as a “Call to Action” on websites.

I felt the precious Holy Spirit speaking that God wants us to SHAKE OFF the heavy coat of procrastination, and put on HIS beautiful garment of prompt action (something I am working on by His grace).

The Bible says “Behold, NOW is the day of Salvation” (2 Corinthians 6:2).

Is God imploring you to get your life right with Him? Do you have a yearning to win souls for Yeshua Jesus? Have you wanted to embark on that health journey to optimum wellness?

The King of the universe exhorts us to delay not another moment, as we are not promised tomorrow (James 4:13-14).

When we take prompt action in what we know we are called to do, it honors God.

And it is one of the greatest stress relievers, because it eliminates clutter and simplifies your life.

May the Lord richly bless you as you pray, seek His will, obey and promptly do what He has called you to do to fulfill the exciting plan, calling and destiny He has in store for you. Amen. All praise to God!

This photo is dedicated in loving memory of my precious Mother Cheryl who loved nature and instilled in me a respect for God’s creation, to be a good steward of these precious natural resources.

Of the nearly 800 photos I took of this extraordinary location and nearby hills, this is among my favorites.

God truly displays His extravagant love through the beauty of nature!

Artwork notes:

Embedded in the top right-hand corner is the Hebrew acronym for "B'ezras Hashem" [ב ס " ד] meaning "with God's help". It is a reminder to me as an artist of my dependence on the Almighty, the Originator of all creativity. This is a similar acknowledgement used by great artists like Johann Sebastian Bach and George Frideric Handel who signed their work with the Latin phrase, "Soli Deo gloria" which means, "Glory to God alone".
