Majesty stands tall,
Stately mountainside splendor ~
Autumn beckons you.

Blazing aspens and evergreen conifers make a stunning contrast in the mountainous terrain of eastern California in this early dawn 2017 photo I took near the 10,000 foot elevation.

As I asked God what to write with my photo, I felt the Lord saying there are many of you who are encountering challenging situations.

Perhaps it’s a loved one in the hospital. A trying situation on the job. Maybe it’s a rift in a family relationship that needs healing. Or financial lack ~ a bit too much month for the money to last.

Whatever you are facing, when life feels like an uphill climb into the rarefied air of uncertainty and pain ~ like traveling the steep and narrow, winding mountainside road to get to this view ~ God wants you to stop, take a rest, and see the beauty in each situation, no matter how challenging it is.

Focus not on what you lack or impending gloom or doom.

Instead, concentrate on what you have: Whether that be your loved ones, your health, the resources God has already given you to work with ~ and above all, the opportunities to make time for quiet moments with God.

A good question to ask is, “Lord, what are You saying to me through this challenge?”

Then wait for His reply.

As you quiet your heart and your mind, the loving Father will give you His divine peace and instructions to guide you along your journey.

Abba Father's reassurance is there for you: "Have I not commanded you? Chazak! [Hebrew translation:] Be strong! Do not be terrified or dismayed, for ADONAI your God is with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:9, Tree of Life Version)
