Description
A thick blanket of fog over San Francisco Bay creates a misty effect at the top of a pyrotechnic sequence during Fourth of July fireworks in 2014.
This image was taken in one extended exposure of 6.8 seconds, manually timed to show the pyrotechnic sequence displayed here.
I've named this fireworks display "Waterfall" because I believe this illustrates prophetically the rain of refreshing and revitalization Pappa God is about to release on those who wait in His presence. The Holy Spirit beckons you to receive that revitalizing today::
"For I will satisfy the weary soul, and every languishing soul will refresh." Jeremiah 31:25, Tree of Life Bible (TLV)
Artwork note:
Embedded in the top right-hand corner is the Hebrew acronym for "B'ezras Hashem" [ ב ס " ד ] meaning "with God's help". It is a reminder to me as an artist of my dependence on the Almighty, the Originator of all creativity. This is a similar acknowledgement used by great artists like Johann Sebastian Bach and George Frideric Handel who signed their work with the Latin phrase, "Soli Deo gloria", meaning "Glory to God alone".
